I grew up there. It's entirely too green in the movie to make it convincing. If you're going to use my home county as a setting, at least make it believable. Great movie though, just disappointed as it looks nothing like where I grew up

My nit-picker alarm went off when I saw the Mercury name
on the tailgate of the old pickup truck, knowing that
the Mercury name-brand is used on trucks in Canada.
Any who, I give it a solid 8.5 / 10, specialy like
the interaction between Redford and Freeman as 2 cranky

I lived there, too. Suffice to say, I never saw the part of the state where blacks and whites cohabitate!
This whole thing was assembled by a foreigner who doesn't grasp any of the underlying issues or even the setting. -

Like one of the posters said, the movie was about a family, not about your precious home state. It could have been set anywhere, who cares? If you people have so much time on your hands and so much concern for Wyoming, why not ask the state for some funds and produce a documentary so everyone can see how great it is there? Leave the film critiquing to those who focus on the story.

Look who has joined us, IMDB user jmim-1, the biggest trolling crank jackass on IMDB.
He replied right before me today with a nasty, condescending message that attacked several posters without even commenting on the topic at hand.
Click on the name of IMDB user jmim-1 above here, then keep clicking and reading his posts.
He never makes any comment related to the movie, he just attacks all the other posters and tells them what is wrong with them.
Here is an example of one of them:
"What a bunch of ninnies you all must be! Who the hell cares what her hair looked like! Get your noses out of your endless subscriptions to beauty magazines and get lives, you aimless tarts."
IMDB user jmim-1, please stay off the boards.
