Unrated/Uncut Version MUCH BETTER!

I stayed away from this movie until I could find the uncut version and I'd say it's at least worth a rental for people who enjoy Cyberpunk.
Now I can understand why the director said that the investors was trying to too hard to make an action movie out of the material it was actually the acting and story (including the alternate history/future of earth) that kept me watching the first half of the movie, until the trio finally "connected" with each other and all the relationships/motivations start to make sense. Give me world-weary hard-*sses with a heart and a sense of humor like Vin Diesel or Michelle Yeoh rather than the dead-serious and depressed people in Children of Men any day.
But it's still obvious in the uncut version that there were some productions problems, the transitions/editing is not that smooth (Children of Men was admittedly quite awesome in this area) and the "summary" ending makes it clear that the director wasn't able to film everything he wanted and finish the movie.
Now I really wanted to know the real story in Babylon Babies, not the ones FOX wants to sell us.

i watched the unedited version which was 160 mins , if thats the one you watched then i agree i was really surprised with the raiting , i would give it a 7.5/8
since i got a hold of that un-edited copy i have never seen another one since , i dont thin they sell it anymore
which is a shame cause i hear so much bad things about this short version. -

From what I can gather, it's longer and focuses on more important elements. I think I'm going to get the dvd. I just saw the theatrical version on cable, I liked the film. I did see some week points, but maybe the unrated/uncut version will fix that.

The theatrical version seemed like it skipped 10 min of the movie. It was like somebody cut a 2 min segment out of the movie every 10 min.

Yea the UNCUT version is way better. The theatrical version leaves a lot of plotholes unsolved. The uncut fixes that. It's just way more fun to watch

Why did they release the theatrical version when this version was already in the making? I don't get itsomeone explain plz

Either Way, Uncut version was pretty damn good.
