Why call it Babylon A.D.? I don't think they ever said it once in the movie.

Because in the end it's all about christian nonsense in a seemingly perfect world hence Babylon and A.D. (Anno Domini)

I thought it was to be about Babylon or the region that used to be called Babylon but nah fooled by stupid title, and someone saying it was a good movie.. wich becomes a very doubtful statement after watching it.

I think it's a bit of a play on words. Babylon was once a famed place with it's hanging gardens one of the wonders of the world. So I think there is an element of irony about what the future has become.
At another level from the Greek the word Babylon derives from a word meaning 'Gateway of God' (which fits the movie theme), or in another definition from the Hebrew bible it's source word means 'confusion' (also fits nicely).

Maybe should find out why the book is called Babylon Babies. They probably changed the title cause Babylon Babies doesn't sound like an action sci-fi.
Not sure about the Babylon, possibly to hinting that Aurora is a wonder of the world.
A.D. I think is obviously refering to a futuristic feel.
That's the beauty of argument, if you argue correctly, you're never wrong.

Maybe originally it had to do with the 19 languages that the girl could speak, because in Babylon of the bible, all men spoke one language then the languages were confounded. So they dropped the ball on that one.
