The chance of getting a sequel any time soon doesn't look good from what I can see. It's too bad, because I really loved the film, and would have liked a sequel from the same production team, featuring the "surviving" actors. Audience reaction to this didn't seem so hot overall, which would amount to the financials on what was already a "budget-strained" project not suggesting much utility of a sequel for investors and producers. Although obviously at one point the idea of a sequel was batted aroundor there wouldn't be an entry for it on IMDb, as there is.
Unfortunately, it seems like maybe a sizable portion of the audience didn't quite know how to contextualize the film. A lot of comments here evidence this. Many seem to be overlooking core aspects of the filmthe "supernatural" stuff, the more surreal, dreamlike feel where the idea isn't to forward formal logic problems, etc., and that seems to have resulted in a lot of dissatisfaction.

A sequel would be great as long as Angela Bettis returns.

I do like Angela Bettis but she was kind of annoying in this. I liked the atmosphere and all the different characters. They should have done a sequel in a new building with a bunch of zany characters.
