Perhaps his face is falling apart. Or he's ashamed because he's ugly. Or it's a secret fetish.
Hm, sorry, just kidding. Dunnoin fact he doesn't need it really.
Perhaps it's just precaution for the unlikely case that one of his victims can run away. Then there would be no chance to describe a man or monster, just an intruder with a mask. -

I liked the idea someone gave on here that he wore a mask or had a deformed face due to the embarming(spl?) fluids that had been used on the corpse of his mother seeing how he had been "born frm death"

Due to a series of poor attempts at reconstructive surgeries TBK's face is in a constant state of infection and malformations. Much like the Phantom of the opera TBK wears a mask to conceal its deformaties. Stay tuned for TBK2

Don't know why he wears a mask, but what's under the mask is even better.
