Just as I was watching the original "Toolbox Murders" last night, thinking it would be an ideal movie to remake, today I see that they actually ARE remaking it, but who wants to put money on it sucking as bad as the "Carnival of Souls" remake or the upcoming money-grubber remakes of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "Dawn of the Dead"? And Tobe Hooper hasn't directed a decent movie since 1982's "Poltergeist"be afraid, be very afraid

Well I like Tobe Hooper's movies. I'm not much for the TCM or DOTD remakes. Not needed. I haven't seen the original Toolbox Murders but I could easily walk up to Movie Gallery and buy it, but I'm gonna wait for this one first. Unless I crack. This remake sounds okay though.

Finally I could see it on DVD. Well, it is more interesting than I expected. I read some bad reviews and I thought it was a worse remake. But when I saw it I changed my opinion. It is a good horror, like old horrors (1970s). There is just a bad thing: there isn't blood enough!
