Could you be more patronising? Just a little?
I like adult, intelligent socially relevant and well honed thrillers. This wasn't.

i thought it was very good, saw it for the first time last night on channel 4 and i liked everything about it, the ending seemed a bit rushed. but it was a crazy film, the bits where there being altered and messed with are disturbing, cool stuff.
dont get me wrong it isnt the godfather, granted.
but still a good flick. would watch it again.

Great film. Btw the 1962 version is on youtube 🙂

The other night I watched it again, three years after my first comments (above). It took me 30 minutes before I got the feeling that I had already seen it, so obviously it hadn't made much impression the first time around. Having seen it all again, I feel no need to alter my report of my reactions first time around, though I wonder about the ending and what happened to Marco (and why and how).

I guess people who don't like this just expect too much. It's only a movie.
The original was a good movie. This one is scary good.
If only those responsible for it had waited 4 years, they could have had Denzel Washington play Sgt.Shaw and made the movie much more relevant and realistic. Not to mention Meryl Streep has the Nancy Pelosi character pegged.

This is a 9/10 movie, easily. Watched it for 3rd time now and still picking up little details I missed before.

Agreed:a pointless and boring remake of a timeless classic.
                    Garbage

it was politically interesting, but i guess that couldn't go through your little head.
