Oh man, I'd probably have an easier time listing the ones that didn't make me cry 'cuz almost all of them did! The majority of the ones listed already are on my list ("Daniela," "Wishing," "The Sleepover" - I can't even watch the repeats of that one, it broke my heart!) but one I don't think was listed that made me cry was "Yo, Adrian." When Jerry was telling the ref, "I'm not a bum, I'm good!" during the fight & the ref was practically cheering him on agreeing with him, I cried my eyes out! There are LOTS of others but those ones really stand out in my mind as real tear jerkers.

Definitely Boy Crazy because it hit home. When I was growing up I was really into sports and kind of dressed a little tomboyish. Not to the extreme of Sam, but I'm sure there were people out there who thought I was weird. Just because I dressed different and loved sports didn't mean I didn't love boys. I had so many crushes. But then in high school I blossomed and lost the tomboy thing and everything was fine. I was even in my school's homecoming court.
Things could have been very different. It's terrible how we pigeonhole people for looking a certain way when inside they could be the total opposite.

The majority of the episodes evoked emotion but the following episodes will ALWAYS stick with me:
"Wishing" - this was my first episode of Cold Case that I'd ever watchedit broke my heart into a million little pieces. I think about this episode whenever I hear Israel Kamakawiwo'ole sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".
"Death Penalty: Final Appeal" - I cried because injustices like this occur all too frequently, and there is always some beep DA involved. The justice system in this country sucks. Period.
"The Good Death" - It broke me down because I'd recently lost a much loved former boyfriend to cancer (along with countless friends and family members). I understand the urge to end your loved one's pain for them. I truly believe that the terminally ill should be able to choose to die with dignity instead of living out their last days in agony.
"The River" - this is an underrated episode for sure. I identified with Dr. Grant Bowenhe had an addiction and dug his family so deep into the mud that he took the only way out that he could see. Ending his life was, in his eyes, the best decision he'd made in a long time. Sy Tisdale was another addict who seemed to have no redeeming qualities until he put his own freedom on the line to help a friend even though he knew he wouldn't benefit from it in any way. For a man with a gambling addiction, this showed his humanity.
"Strange Fruit" - Need I explain? The senseless murder of a young Black manwho was basically murdered BECAUSE he was Blackkidnapped, beat up, hanged
"Fly Away" - I more than understand the plight of a single mother doing the best she can and still end up being dogged and taken advantage of by the system that's supposed to help her and her child. She was so afraid that her child would be hurt that she took her own life and the life of her child into her hands in order to protect them both. The fact that she lived while her child diedand having to live with that guilt despite knowing that you did what you thought was the best and only option? Man.
I' m sure there are a couple more but those are the ones that stand out the most.

I agree on everything and I think it's underrated because there's no mentallt ill boy (Wishing), no racism (Strange Fruit, Death penalty), no children abuse and death (Fly away), no terminal death (the good death), only a doctor who screwed up and lost everything in gambling..I think it's great episodes anyway, but i also think that some issues appeal to our emotions more easily..

I agree with those that said Daniella. She finally thought that she was happy & if Chris would have gotten there about 2 seconds earlier everything would have been okay. Also I think that it's called The Letter with Sadie a light skinned black woman & Jonesie a white milk man that fell in love with her. The ending both saddened & angered me.

I can't watch the ending of that one either (Jonesie/Sadie). Upsets me.

I watched my first episode of cold case and it just so happened to be wishing. While watching it im like "man i really messed up watching this show". One of the saddest things for me to watch, how people could be so cruel and uncaring, and afraid to speak up. Im watching revenge now, and if many of the episodes are like this i wont be able to continue watching this, lol.

Just watched "Bullet" and I cried my eyes out at the end.
The FBI detective Diane witnessed the guy she was making out with die right in-front of her at a movie drive-in and practically dedicated her whole entire life to become a detective and find out why he was killed. She finally did and it was beautiful to see her smile and see his ghost while they finished watching the movie together. I rewatched that moment so many times!

The boy in the box makes me cry too as does That woman. Pretty much all of the ones with teens and small children make me cry.

There are so many for me. "Boy in the Box" definitely stands out, as do "Andy in C Minor," "A Perfect Day," "Fireflies" and "Lonely Hearts." Really, there are just too many to list.

I just watched Jackals - not the best episode maybe, but that bit at the end where her boyfriend walks away from her really got me crying. It's such a sad show!

Most of them make me cry at the end. However, I watched "Time to Crime" today and that was the first episode ever to make me cry at the beginning.
