They played her stalking for laughs. She did so many creepy things to Charlie, including padlocking himself in his own bedroom so he couldn't escape her, watching him out with other people, trying to drug him to purposely make him sick so she could take care of him, and befriending Charlie's friends so they'd have a reason to introduce her to Charlie eventually. Eek.
And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane

I always thought she was adorable. Yes, she was nutty, but it made for a good role in the series, the way Charlie just sort of accepted her goofiness.

goofiness? This girl would climb through Charlie's windows and sneak in his house. She'd lock him in rooms. She'd drug him. She'd enter a scene when Charlie is away from the house, insinuating she was following him the whole time. The show played it for laughs, but she was a criminal. Her actions were more than goofy.
A big fat guy does this to a hot young girl, he's in prison.

I'm viewing this within the confines of a sitcom.
Of course she's stalking him and what she's doing is not only immoral but illegal and male or female, what she did, if done in real life, is wrong.
I'm just referring to this series that it was almost like Charlie had a little crush on her (well, obviously given everything) and he tolerated her breaking in and locking him in.
I thought she was cute as a button.
PS: I hate the term "hot" by the way. It's demeaning. Regardless, within the context of this series, I found her cute.

Not necessarily. Some women want to be taken seriously and not be objectified.
To some women, they love being told they're hot and stuff. But as times change, women are becoming more than arm candy for a guy to show off.

Interesting. The way she dresses helps make her come off sweet and innocent, hiding her true intellect that can be expected of a fully mature adult, which she is. She knows how to hide her motives. Not that she has to try hard with Charlie though!
