I understand Season 9 to 12 was a downfall, although, I don't see why all the hate upon it, I know all Charlie Sheen fans miss seeing him, (he doesn't care about it anymore either) at least Charlie Harper was shown at least a few minutes before his final fate at the end of the finale, because they brought mostly everybody back from the past seasons in the finale, I know the animated was bad too though, Screw Chuck on not showing a real life sequence between That Darn Priest and Nice to Meet You Walden Schmidt: "which could have been unreal to see" but that's how they wanted it.
Don't be commenting anything bad behind my back upon this, I am still a fan of both seasons, it is still just a show though, as much some of you think it ran its course and how it failed, it still stands as "The Longest American TV Sitcom of all time
RIP: Two and a Half Men and Charlie Sheens absence after got fired

I loved the show with Charlie and I continued to love it with Walden. The show managed to stay consistently funny even after Charlie left though I will admit Season 9 is a bit shaky.

12 years is more than enough for any series.
        Sometimes ya gotta wonder.

The downfall of the show was Charlie becoming a nuisance and getting fired. And then the writing went down from funny and clever, to juvenile and stupid. That is when the show went from great to terrible.

Charlie was the show! Without him it was boring and stupid.
            8 good seasons though!
