Was the show written by feminazis?

There is this thing that keeps bugging me about the show. I know it's meant for humor, however there is this one thing that makes me roll my eyes.
I know this century is all about empowering women, but let's not overdo it. Most women in this show are just so I don't have a word for that.
I have this example, when Melissa found out about Alan's double life and she went to Charlie's house to look for Alan and ask him where his brother was. And when Charlie took his brother's side she just punched him in the nuts. I mean, I know it was all just for the laughs, but I was hardly amused. I bet that if one of the guys also got mad at some chick and, let's say, punched her in the boobs, there would've been an outrage about the show, if not banned. Dunno, we learn that it's totally okay to knock at someone's door, ask that person for some explanation and if that person doesn't agree to get involved you hit them just like that.
I also have another example, the episode where Lindsay and Zoey got into a fight, they were really manipulative and rude with the guys who did their best not to pour gas on fire. I remember there was a terrible storm out there and Lindsay was on her period and sent forced Alan to buy her tampons. I mean, I would never force my boyfriend to go outside and buy me tampons, especially when the weather is not your best friends. I would just put some toilet paper inside my panties not to have 'accidents' and go out at the closest store myself and buy some, also if it's raining I could just call for a cab.
Not to mention when Zoey cheated on Walden and dumped him for her ex-husband, but when she got bored and returned to him, she got mad because he KISSED (not showered/had sex with) Lindsay in the meantime.
Double standards much? I'm pretty sure there are also other examples out there, but they don't come to my mind right now.
And sorry about the English, not a native. -

Okay, this is too weird. I have never watched the show before. It looked like more of the typical rude and unpleasant sitcoms that seem to be all we get today.
They were playing back to back episodes of the show last night and I thought I would step out of my comfort zone and watch an episode from start to finish. It was even worse than I thought it was going to be. Totally unfunny with characters who are highly unlikable. And the way the show/actors telegraphed the laughs ahead of time. This is not comedy. This is something else.
The weird part is that the episode was the one you cited. Where the nasty, spiteful female punches Charlie Sheen in the balls. (Yes, that was transparently anti-male and a tale for another time.) But, yeah, never saw the show (probably never will again) and out of all the episodes, that was the one I watched.
