I thought they shot it weird. I bet the director and/or writer of that movie are gay themselves; I can tell by the way they shot it. They had the male gaze. It has that LOGO gay movie sheen to it.
And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane

Oh, I see. So it's sexual objectification. But gay males do it as well only towards other males.

Well PE is right in the sense that this movie is about two gay boys so it may have been created with a lot of homosexual input.
But I haven't seen it so what is he saying? Is the movie heterosexist? Is it saying gay males are degenerate? Or does it just sexualize the characters as objects.

Well one is a male prostitute who prefers 'bears' because he was molested by an older man. The other was molested as well so he sublimates his sexuality with alien abduction fantasies. I assumed the alien boy was gay.

Okay, I was extrapolating because I don't believe asexuality is a real sexual orientation. So he's heterosexual but doesn't have sex.
