I suppose every time you see someone giving birth in a film, you actually think they're pregnant and giving birth in real life?

What a retarded response.
In terms of REALISM (realistic acting), the topic creator was asking if Neil did really come, which is a valid question. Please read better next time, thanks. -

Maybe you need to read better. The OP thinks
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
the actor actually reached orgasm, not
Neil McCormick
the character. The posts in this thread state clearly several times throughout that she is talking about JGL and questioning whether or not it was acting as it seemed very realistic. That's why it's called acting in the first place! Of course he looked like he was having an orgasm, and I used the pregnancy example because plenty of female actors are able to make their face red and fake that kind of exertion without actually having a baby.
Derp.

The topic creator is in love and obsessed with Joseph. So, when she mentions Joseph in this CERTAIN message board, it doesn't necessarily mean that she was refering to the actual life of Joseph's. It's just for her own easy convenience. She was actually refering to his acting in this movie. Most people already know that movies / TV shows aren't real anyway, unless they are very young.
There are some Neil scenes in the movie that seem questionable. For example, did he really enjoy some certain customers sex? Or was he pretending? Or whatever. He was into this kind of thing simply because he was abused. Since the topic creator is obsessed with Joseph, I can understand why was she looking into this a bit too much. -

Then why bother asking about the possibility of a) the actor in question masturbating, b) the actor in question holding his breath, or c) the actor in question receiving oral sex from a woman instead of a man? If they were talking about the character, we already know the specifics of the situation in context of the film it was a man, an older man, going down on the character of Neil McCormick, and yes,
Neil
came because he was thinking about those memories from his childhood which he still found to be very exciting. I do think that his orgasm took him completely off guard, as he probably wasn't entirely used to coming for the customer. But as for
Joseph Gordon-Levitt
, no, he did not come.

I think people are confusing Neil with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. They are distinct individuals! I don't think anyone can say how this scene was filmed because none of you were there. However, I do agree that there wasn't a woman giving him oral because it's acting after all.

Actually, I can say 100% for sure that he was acting - Not a guess, but a fact that I personally know to be a fact!
As for his face being pink try have 8 3000W HPS lamps in your face w/o it getting pink.
Trust me; he was definitely acting.
And no, Gordy isn't gay. -

SMH You are actually too stupid and obviously too immature to have seen this movie.
No he did not actually CUM (that's how you spell it BTW). Do you think that Meg Ryan actually climaxed in the restaurant scene of When Harry Met Sally?
It's acting and sometimes, it's good, it looks real. -

Actually, 'come' and 'cum' are both just slang terms for the more technically correct term 'ejaculate' 'cum' is just considered to be the more vulgar of the two spellings.
Why don't you take a pill, bake a cake, go read the encyclopaedia. -

What's most naturalistic about the scene is not so much the reactions on Neil's face, but the choking and swallowing sounds his "john" makes as Neil ejaculates/cums in his mouth.

I seriously hope the OP comes back after she grows up and bangs her head against the screen of her computer for having written this post. Otherwise, it means there is an adult out there with this brain.
I've seen a lot of creepy and/or stupid people on these boards - this takes the cake.
Movies are IQ tests. The IMDB boards are each person's opportunity to broadcast their score.
