Why was he cast as Carmine Falcone?
Don't get me wrong, I like Wilkinson as an actor.
As Gotham City's untouchable crime lord though, I just didn't buy it.
Unlike Eric Roberts. Who I think was excellent for Sal Maroni, in The Dark Knight.
When reading The Long Halloween, I pictured an actor like Jon Voight in the role.
Nolan gave Falcone some good dialogue.
Imagine Jon Voight (at his most intense) saying those lines to Christian Bale in the restaurant scene. -

I dont like those two in the role.
I think Tom did okay except his role could’ve been written better.
