In all fairness, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and maybe assume that the 88 in his name is in reference to the year Die Hard came out.
But yeah. Funny how a lot of actual millennials use the "millennial" as short-hand for "kids these days," all the while blissfully ignorant of how moronic they sound.

If Millennials are so smart, why is every other person under 30-something functionally illiterate nowadays? And yes, most are socially clueless. I was an 80's teen and we were a hell of a lot sharper and could actually carry on a conversation with an adult.

Not even sure what you're referring to in particular, but I think most of this comes from the previous generation being overly melodramatic about these things.
The only reason I can think of for lack of socialization in general is that millennials tend to be way smarter when it comes to things like tech (older folk usually can't even make use of a touch screen) which can lead to some form of isolation.
Overall, this generation is much better at creating their own wealth. Notice how most of the list of the youngest self made millionaires are millennials.

Well it makes a lot of sense that there are more self-made millionaires that are millenials, a million dollars today is not the same thing as a million dollars in the 50s. There are way more millionaires now. I'm guessing there were a lot of Gen-X millionaires before the dot.com bubble burst.
