The movie version of
The Black Dahlia
may have tanked, and the three hour film version of
The Black Dahlia
is a long shot, but apparently a graphic novel adapted by David Fincher, Matz, and illustrated by Miles Hyman will work and be as good as the book version of
The Black Dahlia
.
Just found this out. I didn't even know there was a French version before the English version:

Maybe this version is closer to the book. James Ellroy says it, but I think it is true: His books are a lot better than his adaptations. (Exception
L.A. Confidential
) And probably have a bigger fanbase and more people would agree the books ARE better. So if you didn't like this film, maybe this will be better. (Don't like this, then read James Ellroy's novel for
The Black Dahlia
)
Also, maybe some fans of James Ellroy's
Blood's a Rover
are on this board, and will find this interesting, that a film version is in the works. (Again, just found this out):

On a personal note, it sucks that they didn't mention Wayne Tedrow, Jr. or Don "Crutch" Crutchfield being in the movie. Maybe that will change.
If you love Jesus, & are proud of it, copy this & make it your signature.
I saw this & I did.
