Kate Beckinsale! I can't believe it, for a start her Amercian accent was excellent and she looked absolutely stunning!
I remember her with her English accent and short cropped hair in Shooting Fish - miles apart from the beauty she is these days. -

Yeah. I gotta agree with this.
Not only was she ridiculously gorgeous, she seemed like a loving and supporting spouse instead of the usual stereotypical sitcom-type wife. It's not like she was demanding that he make more money. He's already making enough to support his family. She just wanted to spend more time with him. It's been a long time since I saw this movie, but I don't remember why Michael seemed nearly obsessed with his work to the point of ignoring everyone else.
