What did the restaurant do wrong? From the recorded conversation it seems like they told Vance's people beforehand that they could come to eat at the restaurant but they didn't want them using it as a campaign event, probably because they were worried they could lose clientele. Then Vance's people showed up anyway and tried to make it a campaign event, and now there are probably dumb people out there upset at this poor business that was just trying to look out for their best interests but got screwed over by Vance. The restaurant owners are the victims here.

Nothing at all, they can run their business however they want. I don't blame the restaurant, I understand why they wouldn't want a political event there, they were screwed either way, which is why I think Vance handled it with class, paid for the cancelled orders and encouraged people to still support the business. However, through no fault of their own it has the potential to hurt their bottom line because one side feels slighted by them and everything is politically divided in this country anymore.
My main point is the Democrat hypocrisy. I maintain a standard of freedom of association, Democrats don't. They file lawsuits when a company refuses to be bullied by their leftist garbage.
