Does anyone on imdb know what a plot hole is? Why wouldn't they alive? Adam Sandler's character is as well as his mother. Most importantly though is that it's just a playful reference having them in a cameo.

I think it was more of a playful reference. Sure, it was the actual band that performed live. But I just watched the movie and no one in the movie said it were the actual Cranberries performing. I think it was supposed to be a cover band, and for the fun of it they let the actual lead singer perform it. She wasn't old or anything.. So my guess is she's supposed to be a cover band singer or something. Good eye though! I originally came here asking the same question..

Years ago and in some places on earth the life expectancy is/was around 40/50. In the U.S we're up to almost 80 years old now So with that logic, whos to say that in a day and age where they have the technology they obviously have in Click that the life expectancy wouldnt be in the hundreds and that, being a rich band, the Cranberries didn't get a hold of such technology when it was first released?

So the Cranberries guys are alive in 2030, (date of the wedding)????
Why wouldn't they be alive? The Cranberries are not even old they are in their 40s right now and you saw Sandler was alive in that year so it would not be impossible for people that are younger than him to be alive as well
I'm gonna show you something beautiful everyone screaming for mercy -

The Cranberries are all my age, having been born in 1971. In 2030 I and the Cranberries will all be 59. The life expectancy is currently well in the 70s. There's no reason to think they wouldn't be alive.
