i know 1000 post are with this question but there too long or everyone goes out on a tangent
SO????????
is the version with them at a hotel at the end also the one with a boat???
i liked the open ending .
they may be taking out the satellite
or
they could just be on the run
but when the credits came up there was a picture of the satellite so i figured they probably went after the satellite power station island place..
also because after the credits had finished there was a shock wave blur type thing like they took out the satellite -

I googled itI can't believe they had two different endings, that's odd. It seems only the Germans and maybe other Europeans got the original ending while other countries got a shortened one (such as Aus., Brazil & others)
Uh theres no subtitles though, unless you download itor learn some German, ja? Anyway it appears that they are going to take down those evil satellites.
"All foreign (non-German) theatrical versions omit a scene in the ending. The reason for this is that the scene had not been finished at the time the movie was shown at the Cannes film festival. But the distribution rights had already been sold to 44 countries and the director didn't want to force local distributors to take the new ending."
