Teri Hatcher's character Susan is on a dinner date with a guy and the meal gets interrupted by the police either taking her date into custody or telling him about some emergency causing the date to end abruptly. She is wearing a beautiful silver silky/satin dress. Does anyone know the name of that episode? Season? Episode help much obliged. Thank you.

Your referring to Season 1 episode 14: Love is in the Air. Mike gets shot by a man who he breaks into his house. At dinner Susan reacts from the waiter being under the table & knocks another waiter over causing him to spill something (if I remember correctly) which causes an old lady to slip. Mike catches the lady causing his bullet wound to start bleeding. He passes out which leads to him being taken to the hospital.
