I would say it's a drama with very much comedy in it, I couln't stop laughing, this really is Diesel's masterpiece until now

I think that was one of the problems with the movie. It didn't really know what it wanted to be. Was it a crime movie or was it a movie where a guy acts like a clown? The whimsical music playing throughout the movie really wasn't helping, and I felt, hurt the mood. I also felt that Vin Diesel's character was incredibly inconsistent in the writing, but performed masterfully by Diesel.

yeah i guess you could say the basic story is drama but it has alot of a comedy feel to it to.

I'd say it's a courtroom comedy more than anything, with some terrific dramatic touches.
