Dessert!?
I've done a US Thanksgiving once and the whole meal was pretty much sweet, meat and potatoes. I'm much more into savoury, meat and potatoes with coffee and a cheeseboard to finish off on.
I mean who ruins perfectly good macaroni and cheese as a side dish by adding marshmallows to it?

Oh, I can't remember - all I know is that the whole thing was sweet, even the cranberries and they are bitter little things normally.
The company was great and I enjoyed myself but I'm in no rush to eat a traditional Thanksgiving meal again anytime soon

Pretty quiet in my neck of the woods, but elsewhere in the country it was as bad as it always is at this time of year. A house burned down, for instance. I feel bad for the animals having to endure this human revelry.
