No movie has become more up to date than this, an aspiring dictator wins election by fear and hate, freedom is crushed and propaganda and liying became a norm.

People always think that when their guy/gal losses. Liberals thought it when Nixon won, when Reagan won, conservatives thought it when Clinton won, back to libs when W won, cons again with Obama and now Trump cons thought the same if Hillary won and that would be the end of America. Politicians use fear in order to get votes they demonize their opponents to such a degree that you would think they are running against Satan himself but then they congratulate each other after it's over and thank their opponent for their service. Even Trump did this leading a standing ovation at the inaugural luncheon for Bill and Hillary Clinton. Things are not as bad as you think and if I'm wrong I'll join or lead the resistance.
