There's a follow up to Beneath a Steel Sky now Bobby. I have it but haven't played it yet (Like so many of the games I've collected over the years).
I'd never heard of Simon The Sorcerer until now
Must have been Amiga only, looking it up I see that
    it's on Steam now
    and has
    an upcoming new spangled adventure
made by a different company too!
I'll get into both of them (Or all 11 of them depending on how you look at it) over the Winter
The Discworld games had some magic point and click things going on. I liked them a lot
As for that woman you despise and her love for cartoons which require the odd click to move the story forward. She probably fancied you
    expand
Yes I too have the Beneath a Steel,Sky sequel (somewhere) and I too am yet to play it. 🙂
I want to play these Discworld games as I never got to do it back when they came out, but Steam doesn’t have them.
    Sort it out Data East!!
WEE WILLY WILLY FIND ALL THE WAY HOME!

Those Data East guys Bobby, you just can't trust em'
      You can play the
      first one here
      , the
      second one here
      and
      download the Noir one here
      .
But yes, I too prefer them to be on a shelf like Steam or GOG or something
      It feels more like ownership

It's all legit, no problems with anything it's all kept within the browser and is just a game for a games sake. Your laptop won't have any problems with it
The download is the actual game from when it was made, I'm not sure how that will be on modern computers but if there ends up being a problems there are plenty of workarounds to fix those type of things Bobby

I shall give it a try sometime. Does it have Star Trek The Next Generation A Final Unity? That one isn’t on Steam either.

I think I might have played it back in the day judging from some of the screengrabs people have posted up about it:
But I don't have fond memories of it and so it probably wasn't the type of point-and-click game I liked
Mind you, I didn't like those video cassette games they did either. In fact I don't think I've played a Star Trek game that I liked

I seem to recall it being like an interactive episode of the show. I’d like to beat the game with a walkthrough. That goes for the 25th anniversary OS point and click adventure (which Steam has) and the follow up (which Steam does not have).

                      Well
I found the 25th TOS game
but I'd never heard of that one either Bobby

There was another POC OS game but I can’t remember what it was called. Judgement Rights rings a bell for some reason. 🙂
