I played a Wallace and Gromit video game years ago, I think he did the voice on that. It was fun but could have been better

Yes he did. He was the sort of fill in voice for the smaller W&G projects, now he’s the main voice. He’s improved a lot at it since that game. 🙂

I just logged into Telltale to see where it had gone (It's not on my Steam account).
Turns out that I've still got it but only on Telltale now.
I'm sure there was a merging at some point in the past…
Having checked it seems like some of it merged with Steam and others didn't. I have Tales of Monkey Island, Sam & Max season 2 and Wallace and Gromit only on Telltale with everything else on Steam and Telltale and working properly.
I also have more Telltale games on Steam that aren't on Telltale.
        Weird stuff.
Piracy is the way, you never own it then and so can't really get annoyed when the stuff you do own gets messed around with

I still have Tales of Monkey Island and that Back to the Future game on Steam, both from the Tellers of Tales. 😊

Back to the Future (All 5 episodes), Poker Night at the Inventory, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People and the other Sam & Max's are all on Steam as well as Telltale but Tales of MI, Wallace and Gromit and the middle Sam & Max are not
I've got the Batman games and The Wolf Amongst Us, Tales from the Borderlands, Puzzle Agent(s) and others on Steam and so it's all a bit odd.
I bought Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People from Telltale's website directly, one of the few times I've ever prepurchased, and it's no longer able to be bought on Steam and yet there it is!
My Daedalic games were all Steam only purchases and so I know that they are Steam only. The Telltale merger missing out a couple of games (But making sure that Back to the Future and Strong Bad moved over) is weird.
Anyways, having gone through my list I see that I've got a new King's Quest game that I haven't played. Seems like Christopher Lloyd is doing the voice of an older Graham. Should be fun!

Is that a brand new Kings Quest game that’s recently been released? I didn’t know they were still making them. 🙂 I bought lots of Point and Click Adventure games in a Steam sale some months back but haven’t played them yet…including the Space Quest games. Lucasarts P&C games are better though, much more fun. 🙂

The King's Quest I'm talking about is from 2015, so new to me but perhaps not to you.
They have the old KQ (1-7) for sale as a collection which I, oddly, don't have yet but they have Space Quest, Police Quest and the Leisure Suit Larry games (Which I do) up for buy.
There's a 'Quest for Glory' which I don't recognise and I can't see 'The Colonel's Bequest ' anywhere and so it's not a complete set
I don't know about the new King's Quest yet but I'd only buy the old ones on sale. They are good but they're not worth what they're asking.
The new Larry Laffer adventures by CrazyBunch are good though, they are modern made and new stories. The Wet Dreams titles (Yes, titties is more apt)
As for LucasArts vs Sierra On-Line, back in the day I was a die-hard typer of tales and didn't take to the easier icons for actions way of LucasArts. But they did make fun games and were more accessible to most.
I think now though I probably prefer the pointer clicking on things and just enjoy the show more.
With Full Throttle, Grim Fandango and Sam & Max LucasArts really bust the mould and set new standards with nobody else to compete against them. It sort of was the death of the genre until Telltale showed up but they didn't stay in business as their original form for very long.
Oh! I have some Walking Dead games of theirs too which you can't buy on Steam anymore. I was going through my list and seeing what else of theirs I have on Steam. I'm still looking too!

I’ll be honest, I haven’t played any Sierra games yet, just watched videos of them and read about them in my Bitmap Books point and click adventure game book. I didn’t have a PC growing up, just micro computers such as the Amiga which DID have some Lucasarts games on. 🙂
I used to love Telltale games but I worked with this woman who I grew to despise and she likes them, so that’s put me off them a bit.

Telltale started out well, bringing back point-and-click and doing a good job of it.
But they started with episodic releases and they were a little late each time. No biggie really but some customers were a bit upset and there were some bugs and glitches when things were released due to the nature of being hot off the press.
Then they moved away from point-and-click and went for stories that require a button to turn the page and bigger intellectual properties (IPs).
More customers, less games. There the episodic releases were harshly torn down by loyal fans of the modern IPs they were destroying in their retelling and morale must have been frayed by those trying to release on time. That's where it all went tits up.
Amigas could play Sierra On-Line games Bobby
That's where most people who played them played them, that or on the Atari ST

Well…this woman that I used to work with and despise, I have to say that it was the later Telltale Games that she enjoyed. These sort of interactive storybooks which made you THINK that you were in control but really the story always goes the same way albeit with a few cosmetic changes. I liked these for what they were however they are now TAINTED by her.
I realised after I posted that Amiga had Sierra games but for some reason these never appeared under my radar back then. It was Monkey Island 1 and 2, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis and a friend of mine who’s mum was well off had a PC and he had Day of the Tenticle. I also enjoyed Beneath a Steel Sky and Simon the Sourcerer from other companies. 🙂

There's a follow up to Beneath a Steel Sky now Bobby. I have it but haven't played it yet (Like so many of the games I've collected over the years).

Must have been Amiga only, looking it up I see that

made by a different company too!
I'll get into both of them (Or all 11 of them depending on how you look at it) over the Winter
The Discworld games had some magic point and click things going on. I liked them a lot

It's all legit, no problems with anything it's all kept within the browser and is just a game for a games sake. Your laptop won't have any problems with it
The download is the actual game from when it was made, I'm not sure how that will be on modern computers but if there ends up being a problems there are plenty of workarounds to fix those type of things Bobby

I shall give it a try sometime. Does it have Star Trek The Next Generation A Final Unity? That one isn’t on Steam either.

I think I might have played it back in the day judging from some of the screengrabs people have posted up about it:
But I don't have fond memories of it and so it probably wasn't the type of point-and-click game I liked
Mind you, I didn't like those video cassette games they did either. In fact I don't think I've played a Star Trek game that I liked

I seem to recall it being like an interactive episode of the show. I’d like to beat the game with a walkthrough. That goes for the 25th anniversary OS point and click adventure (which Steam has) and the follow up (which Steam does not have).
