We should set up various challenges for him Bobby. Keep him entertained
The clamped wheelchair challenge is a good un' and so is the quarter pipe in front of the door run
Alternatively we could get the local primary school to make up little teddy bears in some sort of Doctor Who garb and have them placed around town in the windows of local businesses and do some sort of treasure hunt adventure challenge for him. All proceeds go to charity and anyone can play.
That's probably the best idea, I'm not sure that clamping his wheelchair or blocking his door with a skateboarding ramp would be safe in a fire

I do really like that idea. Maybe I’ll pop down myself with Ricky and have a go.
They should also do special Doctor Who themed days, like Star Wars has with ‘May the 4th be with you’. November 23rd for example could be National Doctor Who Day where we all just forget ourselves for one day and dress as Doctor Who characters and all just embrace the Who…just for that day!
I hope that Russell doesn’t wrap everything up next week and leaves a couple of threads dangling for Tharries and other fans to speculate over for these 6 long months. It would be incredibly thoughtless if he didn’t.

I might start a YouTube channel saying that Ncuti is effectively playing a blackface version of The Doctor and let everybody beat each other up for six months Bobby
It'll keep them off the streets. Because nobody wants an angry Doctor Who fan walking about the streets without distraction in their minds
Or we could just have them all come into VR Chat and we could make our own Doctor Who stories while we wait for the crimbo special

Yes they need to be distracted, Siggy. In the olden days they had no internet between seasons but they DID have the Target novelisations to keep them occupied where they could catch up on the stories that they missed. Also if they fancied a nice day out, they could go and visit one of the Doctor Who Exhibitions at Blackpool or Longleat.
VR adventures sound like a fine idea. We could set it up to take them on lots of different fun (but educational) adventures.

It does seem as if the Doctor Who fandom have united against RTD this time around and so maybe we'll get some little adventures which are fictions made by loyal fans and Disney understand that they own nothing of the franchise and we don't want them being involved.

I don’t watch videos by any of them, I just watch Tharries…and Council of Geeks…and Jessie Gender…and AMTV Who…and Ricky.
Speaking of, Ricky will have his review up by Thursday in time for the next episode on Friday midnight.

I expect Ricky will have all sorts of ideas and be very excited about the fina episode of this series Bobby
But will Susan Twist be in the final episode?

There’s ALWAYS a Twist at the end….so I’m sure that she will be.
Even I’m getting excited now. You know, I should have taken Ricky to watch it at the cinema…but he was too excited to wait.

Isn't the cinema one this weekend?
I'm sure Tharries and people like him would have seen it already if there was a chance to catch it early
Well let's hope that Susan gets to come back and be saved because if she's just a token kill for Setek then that's all a bit of a waste

Yes that’s why I couldn’t take Ricky. He just can’t wait past midnight on Friday to see it.
He’ll be watching it without me this time though as I have to be up bright and early at 6am for work.

Ricky can always pop on here while you're at work and we can discuss the episode and what he thought of it.
I'll let him burn his energy off so that you have an easier time of it all when you settle down for the night

Well if he does then you have my permission to scold him if he’s becoming too heightened. You just need to be firm with him. He might pull his face and complain but he will thank you and understand later.

I think Ricky and I have a good dynamic, what with us both being external manifestations of our progenitors
He'll be fine and should be in good working order for when you get back in from work
You could catch Doctor Who while at work and then you'll have something to chat about with him when you get back. Anyone in there fans of Doctor Who or black gay guys or short blonde women or redheads hitting 70?

No to be honest I can’t picture any of them being at all interested in Doctor Who…but Ruby Road and the GILFS…maybe that would swing it.
Well if you’re ok with looking after Ricky then I’ll let him know that he can come on here with you and hang out…just don’t let him run rings round you.

Well he has all your knowledge of all the Doctor Who audiobooks and the like Bobby and so I'm fairly certain he knows tonnes more than I do about the show and can run rings around me without trying
But that's the great thing when you get someone who is passionate about a subject, you get to learn new things and see them in different perspectives
Buy anything nice out at the shops?

Yes I bought a bottle of whisky, some Jaffa Cakes, an egg mayonnaise sandwich meal deal (with Ribena and salt n Lineker crisps, and a pack of mini cathedral city cheddars (I hate them but can’t stop eating them).

Also I’ve never seen that old Doctor Who story with Sue Tech, therefore neither does Ricky, so you could teach him all about it.

It's not too hard Bobby. Susie Tech was the baddie in Tom Baker's run as The Doctor during the episodes of Pyramids of Mars. He hates all living things and wants to destroy them - the end.
Somehow he's escaped a time tunnel he was trapped in and, for reasons as yet unknown, wants to destroy Earth first and then all the other life in the universe.
Pretty generic bad guy stuff. I'm sure in the comics, books and other stuff they've given him more of a story but from what was shown in telly he's just a bad guy who The Doctor stopped and there's not much more to it
Considering all the old Doctor stuff was meant to be in the past and this was a new Doctor (And black and gay too!) I'm unsure as to why this particular baddie is back but here he is
Pyramids of Mars is a good watch and Ricky will enjoy watching The Doctor in the episodes. Maybe they just wanted to see if Shooty would do a Tom Baker anguish face and decided to use this story for it.
Either way, we know there'll be a big red button and it all gets wrapped up with us wondering who Mrs Flud is for the next series

Yes, a nice couple of dangling threads such as Mrs Flood…with maybe a heavy hint/clue that the REAL Susan is alive and well just waiting for The Doctor to come find her would be perfectly feasible little tiddy bits of a morsel to keep Ricky and Tharries all ticking over and excited for next series.

Well nobody has mentioned the device in Mel's palm from near the beginning of the episode Bobby and so when it all turns out that Mel is working for Sunak and Susan really is The Doctor's granddaughter but that device in Mel's palm stopped the usual transfer of memories between Time Lords who touch I'll be laughing at Tharries and the rest for not picking up on it
