Be honest, when you heard Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini you thought I'd spoiled the whole episode for you, didn't you
I had no idea that I was racist. I too missed all the cues and suggestions that their entire culture was baked in with badness. That means Lindsey's mum (Susan Twist) was racist too
But, going down that road, that means the giant woodlice were all part of the racism too. At first I thought that was just reality catching up on people too interested in their social media to be aware of things like looking left and right before crossing the road or leaving a bot on the cooker but no, they are invariably what a godlike artificial intelligence thinks up to wipe out a species that are not only racist, but useless too. I mean, who created it and why does it hate them so? Anyways, even though the AI could have bulleted every person alive in one go with their dots it decides to make a species of giant woodlice and so how does that work with people who are black?
Woodlice generally hide from the sun, have vegetarian diets and are a useful, yet unseen, part of the ecosystem. Is it just an unseen joke and the rest of it doesn't matter??
Anyways, there's no way anyone in that show was beneath 27 years old (Apart from Rubi) and so that's probably another racist thing too which I don't get.
By the way, did you know that The Doctor is black? And he's gay!
What are the chances of getting an actor in to play him who is also black and gay?!?!
Was it the people or the woodlice that had that greeny/blue blood that we saw on the pavement? Because Ricky's headshot suggested red blood which means that, if the woodlice are the bluey/green blood that black people don't have red blood or something.
I think we'll need to get an expert on racism in Ricky, this is all too over my head and I feel like an Oomp Lumpa trying to figure out an everlasting gobstopper

I haven’t seen What the Bridgerton yet. Bobby got back from work last night and was just far too tired after a 15 hour shift to watch it. He said that I could still watch it but I said I’d wait because I like us watching it together.

A Bridgerton Too Far is as good as Beat The Darkies Ricky
Some people might catch a couple of things to sing about, but as an episode it is very uch Doctor Who and is the type of episode people have been waiting for since Christmas.

Don't they do deals on them like 3 for a tenner or something?
There's a shop round my way that sells them like that. Kids put the stickers on the bin outside like it's a triumph to take part in.
I suppose it kind of is but the council cleans it off every couple of months

I think they do but one of the gang does a ‘shop run’ and they take it in turns at going and buying the vapes in bulk. They also find it funny to see what sorts of crazy flavours they can buy for the others. -

Funnily enough Bobby and I were talking the other day how it’s such a shame that all of the old men from when Bobby was a small child who used to smoke a pipe had died off and how we miss the lovely comforting smell of a pipe. -

Oddly enough (I've said that twice today now!) Juan has left his pipe and tobacco here.
The tobacco is called Stormy Skye by Chieftain and the pipe is all clean and in working order.
But I know how funny he gets when people mess with his stuff and so I haven't touched it other than to look at it and place it back

I think old guys with pipes stopped smoking out and about when they banned smoking in pubs.
They'll likely just have their friends over and enjoy themselves in the house with little to no noticing the difference.
But at least people with prams can get a quick spritzer without that smoky smell, there'll be no problems further down the line for them

Well it’s not fair that pipes aren’t smoked in public places anymore as a lot of us none smokers really liked the smell and miss it.️
No, marijuana is what is known as a ‘Gateway Drug’ and he’ll be injecting smack before we know it. Bobby has warned us about these things.
It is better that he sticks to the vapes which come in flavours like strawberry ice cream and Irn-Bru.
