Yea that one was pretty bland. Had some good moments to keep it from being at teh bottom, but half teh episode teh Doctor is sleeping and not much really happens. My favorites were Christmas Carol and the Snowmen and they didn't fair the best either.

Well, some of them really are.
Try finding one YouTube video on Doctor Who without someone swearing painful death on the uploader if there isn't any 10/Rose on it lol. But I was and am a total fangirl of a bunch of things, so no judgment.
My fav Christmas specials are The Runaway Bride and Husbands of River Song - neither of which I think is supremely popular but who cares, I love them. I also really liked The Snowmen. I didn't like this newest one at all, but no matter, only a few months until series 10.
Do you even know what honor is?- A horse.

No, The Christmas invasion was the only one with a decent storyline. The Runaway Bridge and Voyage of the Damned weren't too bad tbf, but every single christmas special since series 5 has been dreadful, that is a fact.

No, I loved the dilemma at the end between Harriet Jones and the Doctor. The Sycorax were a pretty threatening villain, and there was actual tension and drama.
All Christmas episodes since series 5, apart from The Snowmen, has lacked tension, and had been aimed at a younger target audience.
