        Scrooge kind of needs that grandfatherly gravel in his voice, if you know what I mean. I'm sure Tennant can do a Scottish accent, but not sure if he could do not befitting Scrooge.

                He can do it. I'd wager so could Capaldi. Read up more on the late Alan Young, a G*d-gifted talent and self-proclaimed working actor well into his 90s. And this from someone whose GPS still carries Peter Sallis' voice.
