Something interesting I saw in Mike's interview in the extra feature which can be found on YouTube. Mike talks about how he was really skinny and wore layers. He says Darlene knew the person in the first car that left and wasn't sure if it was the same car that came todo the shooting. But what I found interesting was he said she told him his name was Richard. Not sure if this was discussed since this was all shot before the 2007 release and I believe Gyke became a suspect in 2008 or 2009.
It's probably just a coincidence but something I found interesting. -

his interview seemed accurate for the most of it. The part where he mentions that name seems a little bit overthought by him, he raises his hands behind his back it seems weird and inconclusive cause he doesnt give any context to that revelation

I don't recall what originally caused Gaikowski to pop as a potential suspect in the Zodiac killings but first hit detectives radar back in 1986. It just took 20 years for info. to arise and raise an eyebrow at him again.

I do feel a lot of pity for Mageau as the Ferrin shooting was clearly a major constituent cause in his life going down the beep
Nevertheless, from what I recall of the Zodiac DVD interview with him, it's a lot of inarticulate rambling. You can make sense of it, but let's be honest, he's not what they would call in law enforcement "a reliable witness". He'd be made mincement out of if he ever made it to the stand in a criminal trial. So I don't really put much stock in his "testimony".
