"Sweetest of Templetons"?

In the scene where Downey's character walks out on the Chronicles' editor, he refers to him as the "sweetest of templetons". Anyone have any idea what he's referring to? I'm stumped.

well the editors name is Templeton Peck. So he is trying to sweet talk him. Like me saying to you 'Sweetest of Leathanl's'. Or nicest of Leathanl's etc. The nicest of all the people called Leathanl.
Now why the editor has the same name as the guy that played Face in the A-team is a totally different matter. Though apparently they just did as I looked it up.
