why would a 50 year old white Les Dennis be cast as Aladdin? Why is there bawdy carry on humour in a kids show? I

In the UK pantomimes like the one shown in the episode are done on every city in the country, with people like Les Dennis cast in them. As for the humour, the innuendos go straight over the kids heads, it's there for the adults that are accompanying them.
