IMHO, it's easily Marshall. I don't think I would have been able to pick him out of a line-up, if the line-up included early Marshall and I had only seen him in season 3 with his 50-60 lb. weight gain.
Sure, Lily aged the most (from smoking, I am guessing), and there was that season when Robin didn't look that great (not wearing make up??)

Actually Lily (Alyson Hannigan) doesn't smoke irl. Marshall (Jason Segel) was the one that smoke numerously on set and it would drive Alyson Hannigan crazy since she had to kiss him often.
But I think Lily changed the most.

Agreed. She really grew up over the years, especially from season 5 and up. She looked about as conventional as Robin then.

Yeah I agree. I kinda wish she kept her hair short and light red. I didn't like that dark red/brown look she had going on for a while lol

Are you sure about Lily not smoking? I only ask as she has the tell-tale wrinkles just above her upper lip that USUALLY mean smoking.

Yeah it's been said that she hated kissing him just for that reason alone. I think they made a deal where he had to pay her each time he smoked on set lol but then he eventually quit.
I'm pretty sure she's always had those little wrinkles on her upper lip. I used to watch her in American Pie and she still had it.

Alyson Hannigan was the oldest member of the cast and IIRC she went through 2 pregnancies on the show so that probably added to her noticeable age.

I agree about Marshall. Dude lost a lot of weight.
Also, Jason Segel's impersonation changed a little bit. By the last couple of seasons, he tends to do a lot of hand gestures* he really didn't use to do the beginning of the show.

I don't know if "hand gestures" is the proper term, but luckily most of you will know what I mean.

Marshall. In the series finale when they show little shots of the cast members as they looked when the series started, Marshall looks like a little boy in comparison to present day.

Agreed, but you can say the same thing about Lily. They are definitely the two who changed the most.
