are all Genesis fans I refer to the Peter Gabriel era, because, that's the impression I get Mind you, Genesis were great at one time, but the feel of this movie brings to mind the album Selling England by the Pound Just sayin'.

I think I get what you are saying the mid century modern era-I've fallen back in love with it after thinking it was hideous for last several decades.

I dreamt of a roaring river and a woman that was a fish. Dead she drifted, with red tears

I would have thought that they more into Can, King Crimson and Faust, perhaps Kraftwerk. These seem much more Ballardian than 70s Genesis. If it had been set a little later, you could add Magazine, Joy Division (they even had a song called Atrocity Exhibition after Ballard's novella) Television, Laurie Anderson etc etc. The director definitely gets it right having The Fall play over the end credits (beats Abba anyday)

I liked Genesis but enjoyed Phil Collins more when he went solo.
