I walk out of every movie. It gets me a refund nearly all of the time and I get to see at least half of every movie for free.

completely agree, the dystopian breakdown isnt given enough time to soak. It immediately reminds me of Lord Of the Flies which had both purpose and function built into the breakdown. For this one, literally power goes off in the first couple minutes cut to people killing each other for an hour and a half. /fin

What is the point of seeing a movie only half way through??

Yeah almost half the cinema. It was mostly old people as well.

This is hilarious. old people don't have a lot of extra time, so they're more careful with what they spend it on, lol - I think we should use them as movie critics!

I had to stay because I was with someone who was desperate to get his money's worth. Needless to say - he never did. I inwardly checked out after the first penthouse scene and the introduction of Royal - the architect. Poor Jeremy Irons - if only he had known

I have it on DVD and I fell asleep. I might not even bother to go back and see the end. Horrible acting and story.

I saw it in a theater with only 2 other people. When the movie ended, I realized they had walked out on it, leaving only me.
I liked the film. It definitely loses it's way in the last half hour, but I still admire it quite a bit.

I work for a cinema that is currently screening this film. I haven't noticed a single walk-out. In fact, it's been selling very well due to word-of-mouth and the audiences seem very excited as they leave. I enjoyed the film very much, but I did expect more walk-outs.

I went to a Curzon in the UK. There were about 15 other people in there. No one walked out.
I think that it is a film that divides people. Okay, I think that perhaps it does hit people over the head a bit too much with the message that it's trying to say.

I didn't see it in the theater, but if I had, I would have certainly walked out. What a boring mess.

I agree. It started well, went to ok, and then it became a boring mess.

about 10 minutes into the film there is a party scene where the orthodontist baldly states "i am not a homosexual" at the beginning of his conversation with hiddleston. it was at that point i knew this film was going to a piece of you-know-what. for satire to work, the plot and script has to have enough semblance of reality to trigger some recognition in you. no sign of that here, and the "satire" is as subtle as a brick through the window. 40 minutes in and i made the decision to let this play in the background on my tv while i surf the net. what a terrible waste of time this film is.
