It was particularly disturbing watching Pat the Lunch Lady draw her weapon which must've been the first time, when she never thought she'd have to, and then, not being able to return it to its holster, made sure to don her super spy sunglasses, the ultimate USSS accessory, and pretend to scan the crowd for threats while attempting to reholster her weapon. Such a disgrace.
Don't get me wrong, I think there are positions within the USSS for women. Perhaps a woman is an excellent sniper, or perhaps working security detail for another woman, but definitely not working detail for a large, 6'3" high profile man. It has nothing to do with discrimination, but common sense and safety. When it comes to protecting men, this is not the time for "equal representation" to be of top priority.

I still don't think it was a conspiracy.
There are things that do bring up questions though.
Like it has been reported there were cops inside the same bldg. that the shooter was on.
Unless they had a periscope then what good are they sitting around eating doughnuts and drinking coffee inside a confined space instead of outside protecting the ex president?
Weren't the SS snipers that shot Crooks on a sloped roof?
If so then how can this be an excuse not to have anyone on this one.
And no one really needs to be on the roof to guard.
Instead of having cops inside the bldg. (Again what good does that do?) then have them on the ground guarding it like somewhere between 2-4 on each side depending how long they are.
It was part of a series of bldgs. all next to or connecting with each other.
There could have been a SS spotter and/or a sniper on the water tower looking down at everything who could have at least radioed in the danger.
Why didn't they have one there?

There are too many fishy aspects to this whole story, and this "Director" is refusing to answer ANY questions at the oversight committee hearing. She's prevaricating and deflecting.
The USSS should have been on the roof. In fact, there were supposed to be agents on the roof, but they never showed up. I'm still waiting for an explanation for that one.
In addition to CS being on the roof, I agree that LEOs could be on the ground at the perimeter, not inside the building eating doughnuts.
