You could definitely tell it had Edgar's touch on the screenplay. The scenes that tied this in with the bigger universe more than made up for giving him the boot. For yet another origin story this felt so fresh and unique. More in the spirit of the Incredibles. But more for parents than kids. I give this a solid 9/10. This is a great movie and far surpasses my expectations.

Just pay to see Ant-Man every time anyone visits the cinema now through the end of August.

Indeed, a great flick! I'd put it near the top of the MCU films.

Excellent film, I was thoroughly entertained from beginning to end. I really wasn't expecting Luis to be as great as he was. Micheal Pena was awesome and I really want to see more of his character.

I wonder if The Incredibles 2 will use any Marvel characters now that they are all in the same family?

Stan The Man appears at the very end. All MCU films should start using him twice in every movie.

Wait until Luke Cage hits Netflix: Luke Cage is a former gang member who is framed for a crime. In prison, he volunteers for a medical experiment that goes awry, giving him super strength and bulletproof skin. Using his newfound powers, Cage escapes and becomes a hero for hire. His archenemy is Willy Stryker, a former childhood friend from Harlem. The two committed petty crimes together, and both fell for the same woman, Reva Connors, which led to their eventual falling out. It was Stryker who framed Cage for a drug deal that sent him to prison.
                                      Awesome.

Evangeline Lilly is the emotional center of the film as Hanks daughter and Langs reluctant ally - Hope Pym. Her inner conflict mirrors the outer one, as past resentments cloud what is now essential: preventing the Pym Particle (the tech behind Ant-Man) from getting into the wrong hands. A great deal of both the heart and the sense of imminent peril are derived from Lillys portrayal. Whats lovely about the ensemble is that they each bring something unique and necessary to the film and yet fit seamlessly together as a team. Michael Pena (Luis Pena), T.I. (Dave), and David Dastmalchian (Kurt) play Langs criminal compatriots and serve as comic relief, though it is Pena who is truly given the opportunity to shine. Hes refreshing, has impeccable comic timing, and may have all but stolen the show if everyone around him wasnt so damn good.
