The approach they took to his character was really refreshing, I don't recall seeing anything comparable to that before, and how he keeps a straight face for the most part during all of it. Can't wait for more of that in future installments, whether it's AM&tW or some other team movie. Wish they'd have incorporated him and the other two amigos into some of the TV stuff like Agents of SHIELD. If the agency is looking for people who are loyal and can be trusted as well as those with talent, those guys would be great choices, plus their personalities would be hilariously different than anyone else on that team.

Yeah I'm so used to seeing him in more serious roles, and he was almost over the top comical in this, and it was great!

Big fan of Pea. That beginning though, when he picks up Lang and they're driving in the van
                    "Hey how's your girlfriend?"
"Oh she left me. My grandma died. And my dad got deported."
                    I lol'd hard at that.

I liked that they even made that a disadvantage to him once, in that he knocked out that huge guy and then needed to drag him out of the building.
The story had all these little details that were great, and Pena and the other actors made the most of every opportunity.

The story he retells at the end was the best scene from the entire movie. I laughed so hard how everyone was synced to his way of talking.

Damn straight, that scene was genius, with those different characters lip synching to his narration. The guy was superb in this, he even lifted the mediocre jokes above average - "back it up, yeah just back it up, back it up now"
