ABC's "split-season" strategy and synergy with Disney are two competitive advantages that are hard for other networks to match. Why take time off when you can plug in Agent Carter? That's why Marvel keeps hitting home runs. They think outside of the box.

Ant-Man ultimately earns its tiny place as one of the more enjoyable superhero flicks in recent memory. It is close to being a towering achievement and that says a lot given the character.

Although I have to say that X-Men Apocalypse is a home run or at least a ground rule double from Fox.

Everyone loves Ant-Man but because it proves to Disney that they can keep their distance and let Marvel be Marvel. No need to interfere when they are hitting home runs with c-list characters.

Doctor Strange was a blast. Not as good as Ant-Man but close enough.
