Lots of people telling one after another how cool and great this movie was except it was pretty weak. The first hour is

And, again, I want DC to do better. I don't hate their stuff, but I think they can get their sh!t together and do better, thus making Marvel do better.
So why you hate The Dark Knight trilogy so passionately? (In fact, so passionately, you have no restrictions in name-calling Heath Ledger, despite the fact that he's dead.) The Dark Knight trilogy for sure have done much better than current DC movies, or eve any MCU movie thus far. But you seem to not like it anyway. So what is your personal criteria of how to make good DC movie? -

DC has proven that it can't get anything right. Man of Steel and BvS have been plagued by bad casting/director decisions, terrible writing, retelling of origins (because the audience is stupid apparently) and an ill-advised marketing campaign where the latter is concerned. Marvel has been taken more calculated risks (people laughed at Ant-Man but I loved it due to Rudd and look how much he's improved in Civil War? Also, A-M was critically well-received).
Marvel Studios know what their audience wants and deserves; and disagree with John Campea who reckons DC and Marvel should work together. No. -

Ant-man (the character) doesn't have the charisma of CAP, Thor, or Stark; in fact, any of the Avengers have ore charisma. The best lines were by Cassie and some random cop ('I hope you don't find him.' and the one about the giant ant being an ugly dog). I'd have rather seen a movie about Hawkeye helping Black Widow turn from the Dark Side.

Usually a Trekkie likes this stuff. There into the comic movies. I am not really a comic lover of DC movie lover. I will skip movies that are like this one but I got suckered into a free watch with someone in the family taking me to it. I don't like the family action kind of movies and this has way too much comedy stupidity in it. I am so sick of people thinking that being crude and trying to being stupid means funny.
Almost anything comedy out in last decade or more is bad stuff. They add it to movies that are not even comedy kind and they just stink. This is PG-13. So I assuming more teenagers are rating this higher. Probably same for "The Conjuring", and just because it is rated R, does not mean squat.
They all get in with adult guardians or sneak into seeing it. So many bad movies on this site are rated higher than the better ones.
I am a gore watching freak!!!
If it don't have it, it isn't worth the watch. -

Agree 100%. Paul Rudd is likeable, Micheal Cena is sometimes funny and some of the action scenes are quite entertaining. But the rest is lika soft, slushy sirup.
This movie is boring, far-fetched (even for a comic book/fantasy movie) and just feels bland. -

YES. Also it's a bit childish. I think they made it because they believe this can be made into a FUN movie. How can it not? If you be able to shrinked your body, then it must be FUN and FUNNY (in a slapstick way).
People only want to hear what they want to hear
