This rubbish is rated higher than IV?

Yes I realise IV was dripping with cold war propaganda but the idea that an old man could last more than a round in the ring with the undisputed heavyweight world champion is absolutely laughable.
How would George Foreman do against Klitschko?
The type of fighter Rocky was, age wouldn't effect him as much as many other fighters. His strength was always his hard head and power. That doesn't really go with age, speed and skill does. Rocky was never all that great at avoiding punches anyway, except for the second Clubber fight after he was trained by Apollo, which was probably when he was at his most dangerous.
As for George Foreman, do you mean now or when he was in his 50's? Considering he was almost 50 when he retired and still fighting well I think he'd have a shot at going the distance with Klitchko. I don't think he could beat him at that stage of his career, but George was a smart fighter and could always take a punch. -

Dixon didn't have heart, that was the main criticism against him in the film. The reason was because he was never really tested, always fighting fighters who are below him skill wise. He eventually does attain "heart" when he fights Rocky.

Rocky 4 is fine if your just looking for a fun action film starring boxing. Its Cheesy. But entertaining. But it doesn't compare to the more serious Rocky movies. Especially 1.2 and Balboa. But really i like all the Rocky movies regardless of their Flaws. But im little iffy about Creed.

Rocky IV is a fun popcorn flick. But Rocky, Rocky II, Rocky III, the better scenes in Rocky V, Rocky Balboa, and even Creed have a lot more substance. Stallone was in full fledged action star mode when he made Rocky IV. In other words he didn't care about telling a solid dramatic story. It was more style over substance.

The OP is right though. The premise is stupid. Cause Dixon has nothing to gain from this fight. Its loses lose for him.
If he winsIts "oh well its a old man"
The fact that a old man who has been out of boxing for 25-30 yrs went the distance is a Scenario that only Rocky wins..
