Well, I don't shower in my swimming cozzie like Ned Flanders, so I'd say NC-17 for nudity and depiction of an unsightly skin condition. (BTW, what's the MPAA's record with disability and/or disfirgurement like?)

AzaleaRose: I am hearing the words, "approved for viewing?" What does MPAA has to do with disfigurement ratings? Do they really care? Do they have a market or just run data for peer use?

Explicit sex implies at least an "R" rating at the movies? With parent, ok! NC-17 means you have to show your id to get into the theaters to see a movie, or if you are under 17, the clerk will still make you show id to buy any sold item with this marking!

Icanseehimrightnow: How about that the person making it would also have to have a valid id, duh? If it's product rated how stupid can you be, if you can't sell to NC-17, well then you should have to verify how old you are, and who you are, so that this NC-17 rating doesn't endanger any minors? Remember, as dated - you are liable! : (

It's a hypothetical situation, has nothing to do with distributing anything. And you're calling me stupid.

I am almost entirely sure that 99.9% of the lives IMDB users wouldn't be rated by the MPAA due to content (it happened with A Serbian Film), because of sexual content or pornography

Lol apologised for the sex? Im usually thanked haha. I think everyones life would be NC-17 from the get go, get born, naked babies, naked children then later swearing, realistic violence and gore, explicit sex and drug use.

Leporidae: But you have to be able to report it if it is explicit or harmful to minors because you don't want to enter any child endangerment laws, that are put here to protect. A minor has to know what is acceptable quality and what is not, and then be able to report it to IMDb, or whatever that is? And, you don't want to force production getting scale quality or over to insure them and their mishaps and follies endangering you and preventing your quality or moreover, point, and rights not to market irregarded products for a sure industry that is going to endanger children and then take it to appeal, for test - run on the home value and market idex sales, endangering with child pornography, when you should know if it's good. Or else they will rat and pick you up arrest?

Hmm Rated R for strong graphic sexual content, pervasive language, alcohol and drug use and some disturbing images (previously rated NC17 for explicit sexual content)

The one rated NC-17 is likely an audio soundtrack and the one rated R is probably a movie that went with the soundtrack, i guess? So, it's pretty sure if you were not at least 17, without your parent, you were not getting in to see an R rated movie, unless you had valid id showing you were 17 to at least handle the mature content. And, I believe even if you had been with your parent, this was not a PG-13 movie where you just got in with your parents permission. If the rating too was NC-17, you had to be 17 and with an id
I don't remember my parents comming home with too many R rated movies in the late 70's or early 80's. That is something they went out to see. And back then R rated movies were not shown on Home Box Office until at least 10pm. however, keep in mind to rent HBO and have it in your home, you were probably not NC-17 a minor, and your parents had probably ordered your entertainment as cable tv became available & everything then on tv was pretty much general viewing? You didn't have to worry about the world of rating, until you stepped outside your home and into the market, because the theaters were protected by the motion picture industry for product manufactuer guarntees, hopefully with information how to return the 'R' rated movie back to it's content owners, if they should have a verified address on file and want to take responsibility for it? Most motion picture viewers do? Have to have an address to receive after it has been sent and verified by product manufactuer code and the home address.

Probably banned. It's not like I've never looked down and seen my dick in the fourteen years I've been alive and seeing as I'm still technically a minor, a film would probably be considered child porn; as with anyone's life.

It would be NC-17 because of the things I do to Snow White.
