I've only seen it twice. I saw it tonight again (forgot I'd seen it ages ago), and what I loved was how nervous and insecure and shy she seemed in the beginning, I just never, ever could have expected that voice to come out of her. With her, you could feel her passion and connection to music, a part of her blood and bones.

The difference was so drastic! I thought she'd be singing some sweet little ballad or something, perhaps with a little quiver in her voice. But you could see when she went to the back of the stage to compose herself she sort of "became" the singer and….changed.
Did you see the looks on the judges' faces?

Yes it was. I was shocked, and yes, she "became" the singer. The looks on the judges faces were priceless. I loved when Howie jumped up and gave her a standing O. An amazing performance!

Holy crap! That was amazing!
Thanks for sharing. I seldom watch that show so I've never seen this one. What a surprise! That was great!
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.
