I think it's instilled from them from an early age to love their country so they would hear the national anthem and salut the flag at school, stand with their hands on their hearts for the national anthem, etc, whereas other countries don't really care enough about all that. Maybe it's to do with the age of America compared to old European cultures.

They used to play the national anthem here in the cinema before a movie started and one of my exes refused to stand and would boo instead. Super embarrassing and immature. They did away with that custom over 30 years ago now.

Actually I think the other countries that ours resembles that does that are communist countries.
Like they have things of school age children praising pictures of their Dear Leaders or singing the praises of their country that they think is the best, same as ours, or saluting the flag.
And we point a finger at them blaming them for brainwashing their kids that way as we ignore it when we do it to ours.

It would actually be a perfect fit for the conservatives of the Right Wing Repub. Party.
EVERYONE always has to stand at attention when the Nat. Anthem is played.
They are very proud of their military and hold big parades showing it off.
They have the Death Penalty.
No one disrespects the "President" who is conservative just like them.
There is only one or two TV stations that show propaganda just like their beloved Fox News channel.
Very secure without much threat from others.
Everyone follows laws.
Their Dear Leader is friends with our possible Dear Leader who might win the next election.

I remember a few years ago there was a barbershop close to the North Korean embassy in London who used a picture of Kim Jong Un in their window, like barbers and hairdressers often do to show styles they can offer, and North Korea declared war against this barbers or something for being disrespectful to their supreme leader

I dunno if there can really be just one reason but I think one of the top three is the over 240 years of war ship of our military.
We started this country on a war then dominated over the orig. landowners and pushed them out with wars, (Native Americans and Mexicans.) and every generation has been involved in a war or armed conflict since then up until now with us winning most of them.
This military and war history is nothing to be proud of when it brings nothing but shame from all the violence, death, destruction and problems it has caused.
And because we praise this military for our freedumbs, even though it has nothing to do with it, that also goes with fooling ourselves into thinking we are the only free country on the earth when that is not the case at all.
