I'm not a fan of 6 and 8 but loved the rest. Even though there is a dip in quality season 5 onwards this remains in my top 5 of all time which includes: The Wire, The Sopranos, Deadwood and Mad Men -

I don't get some of the praise people give to season 7. It still felt very poor in comparison to everything in the the first half of the series and was just a slight step up from anything in the second half. -

1 I loved getting to know the show and how brian and dex interact.
4. Its crazy but well written. JL does a great job.
5. It was different going after a group. Seeing her "freel from it afterward in a way dex never can be.
2. Love the bhb parts, hated all the lila and rehab parts.
3. This season was meh to me, but did show dex a valuable lesson in trust and partners.
8. Some was off the wall (not remembering visiting the shrink at his age made no sense to me) but everyone finding out was cool.
6. A bit too religious for my taste but the two guys (blanking on names, ones a Hanks I think) did a good job in their roles.
7. Was just pure piss to me. The main bad guy plot was stupid, many were too out of character, I just thought the whole thing was awul. I wanna say Hannah came about in 7, she was pretty terrible too, they didnt "fit" to me. Though I did like the actress, but not the character. -
