The first few seasons were amazing, and then the rot set in. It happens all the time with TV shows.

Ja, I only watched the first three seasons and then gave up.
I paid attention to the end to see what happens, and Dexter becomes a lumberjack. WTF.
Dexter should've got caught in the last season, and had it been about his trial. It would've made for better watching!

BEST ASPECT OF THE SHOW WAS YOUNG DEXTER BEING TRAINED TO HARNESS HIS "GIFT" BY HIS ADOPTED FATHER AND THE CALLBACKS TO THAT RELATIONSHIP.JAMES REMAR IS AWESOME.BEEN A FAN SINCE HE DID A UNHEARD OF ACTION FLICK IN THE 80S CALLED QUIET COOL.
