My favourite one is Narrow Margin with Gene Hackman. Absolutely great thriller.

If you like that try the original "The Narrow Margin" (1952), a BW "B" film that seriously overdelivered.

Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

AndersBigelow will probably never see this, but he/she was asking for films similar in suspense. Transsiberian is one of the best suspense thrillers in history and totally underrated because of The Dark Night 2008 shared opening-weekend.
Two FANTASTIC and SIMILAR films, not on trains, are Steven Spielberg's "Duel" and Jodie Foster's "Flight Plan."
"Runaway Train" is depressing 70's social realism; "Murder on the Orient Express" is cozy British tea mystery like you'll find on PBS Mystery. The only train film that comes close to "Transsiberian" is Hitchcock's "The Lady Vanishes," which shows its age very badly, in ways not the least of which is its brevity. ("Flight Plan" was based on "The Lady Vanishes.")
