the real number of deaths is in the last righthand column,and if you add up the figures its about 30 MILLION.

where are your stats? so the US prisons population is 30 million,or 10% of the population ???

Just because one hates the USA (in general) doesn't mean that one hates everyone in the West. How one of the richest countries in the world can have so many people living is poverty is absolutely sinful. There is nothing United about the United States, it simply one person (or a group) of people out for each other. They will look to make a profit out of every situation, no matter how awful.
A country that does not provide for it's poorest citizens has no right to call itself civilised.
There is nothing wrong with Communism, except people who have attempted to implement it. As a theoretical system it is far superior to Capitalism. In practice, Socialism is the fairest way for all.

There is nothing fair about Communism, it is simply one commie,(or the Party),out for each other.they will look to oppress the masses,no matter how awful.
There is nothing wrong about Capitalism,except people who have attempted to implement it.As an actual system it is far superior to Communism,which is why it and not your Communism is practically the only system left in the world. -

Yeah, during the Khrushtchev/Brezhnev era, USSR was a drab and kinda miserable prison state, but it was definitely better than the utter chaos and quasi-anarchy after the sh-thouse went under. The Yeltsin years were really terrible over there.

Yes and that's actually true. In Russia today You now have Great Patriotic War vets who get their air conditioner shut off during the winters in the Far East by oligarchical companies.
Not to mention an upsurge in raciallly motivated violence by Neo nazi movements against dark skinned minorities from the former Soviet republics. ALL a result from Russia's anarchical period and then force fed capitalism. -

Why do people say "Commie lover" like it is an insult. Nobody with Communist ideologies is ever insulted by that comment. It simply comes from the politically and media manipulated idea that a Communist is the worst thing that a person can be.
I see that you agreed with my statement that the problem with Communism is some of the people that have tried to implement it. However, I would certainly not include all the names that you mentioned. Lenin was a wonderful politician and would have made a fantastic leader (infact he was the first to see the danger of Stalin, and warn against him. Stalinism is NOT Communism).
Even Winston Churchill saw Lenins death as a great loss to Russia.
Regarding your comment about living your life on your feet or your knees. I would also level that accusation against the United States.
To be honest, your comments seem to be based upon being educated by the American media, and American High School text books. Let's be honest, how can you place any credibility on a country that still allows it's schools to teach Creationism as fact. Now that is definitely living on your knees - to Religion.

I meant"Commie lover" to be an insult.Communism was the worst evil in human history,with a death toll of over a hundred million people as a direct result of it.
You misunderstood my statement.the problem with Communism is not just its leaders,but the basic ideas of communism itself.
Lenin was a mass murderer just like Stalin,the only difference was that Lenin was willing to murder everybody(Mensheviks, Bolsheviks,Socialist Revoutionists,Anarchists,et,)just like Stalin,except Communists themselves.
The difference is that in the United States you can get off your knees if you are willing to work and are not stupid or lazy,under Communism you cant,since everybody is supposed to be "equal".
I am not even an American and have not been educated by them,but i wonder where you were educated?and your REligion is definitely - COMMUNISM. BLAH. -

I don't really need advice regarding research methodology thank you. Though if you are basing a judgement upon a YouTube video without context, comparison or academic evaluation; it would seem that you do.
Infact, I don't need to learn the "real facts" either since I have been fortunate enough to be allowed to examine both Primary and Secondary sources.
I suggest that you spend your time with a little more valid reading and research before forming blanket opinions based upon social media and Wikipedia.
I genuinely hope that you do that, and wish you well in that endeavour because it is a fascinating area of study.

I can assure you that i have spent a lot time reading and doing research on the horrors of Communism.
I mearly suggested that you watch the Youtube video as a start to your understanding on this topic,since you seem to have only a basic knowledge on it, and seem to think simple solutions are the answer to complex social and political problems. -

There's no such thing as propaganda in these media-savvy times Every movie has a point of view, and it's up to each individual viewer to decide what to believe, and what not to believe.
I'm sure there are movies out there where Americans are made to be the bad guys, but no right thinking person takes the plot of one movie and applies it to the whole of life in the real world.
