1.Why would a guy with a knife in his head look at the place where he hid his money? DUH!
How do you know he looked on his own free will? Maybe the attacker put a knife to his head and told the guy to tell him where the drugs were, and while the victim looked in that direction, the attacker stabbed him. Maybe the attacker knew exactly where they were, knifed the guy by surprise, went to the secret compartment and the last thing the victim ever did was watch the attacker get the drugs? Who knows. Not sure why it's an implausible scene - just because the audience wasn't in on the details? Even the police didn't know.
    2. How could a police officer who took an oath be involved with robbers? Kind of gives a new spin on the famous term "cops and robbers" don't it? DUH!
No, it's just f-ing Russia. In 2008, there were 12,000 officials accused of corruption. I read a news story recently about a prosecutor there who said income from corruption of government officials is roughly 1/3 of the entire Russian budget. Not sure you've paid attention to the past 2,500 years but corruption has been a theme in drama and poetry since the ancient Greeks.
    3. How could an upstanding Christian girl choose to be a smoker and risk damaging the temple that is her body, given to her by God? DUH!
Why does any Christian at any point in history do anything that risks damaging the body? Human beings are flawed.
    4. Furthermore, why would a nice Christian girl even attempt to fornicate with an obvious Catholic? DUH!
Are Catholics not Christian? Ever read about the fall of man in Genesis? How was this guy obviously a Catholic? I must have missed that. Let's assume he was. Why would an obvious Catholic attempt to covet his neighbors wife?
    5. Finally, how could a nice Christian girl murder someone even though he was obviously a Catholic and probably deserved it? DUH!
The obvious Catholic probably deserved to be murdered but you're upset she killed him? That makes sense. One reason she killed him was that she found him beyond revolting and her suppressed-dangerous side, or whatever you want to call it, overruled rational action. I didn't see that being out of her character.
    6. How could a smart upstanding young Christian man possibly miss a train in the middle of the Antarctic? DUH!
I don't know, why not ask Jesus why he arrived too late for Lazarus's funeral. And it's Arctic, not Antarctic - but it's not even Arctic because the TSR doesn't cross the Arctic circle.
    7. How could a Spanish Catholic man smuggle obvious containers of illegal hard drugs over the Japanese border without raising any suspicion? DUH!
How many f-ing drugs are smuggled anywhere every two seconds? Geez. Is this for real?
    8. Why would the evil Catholic man hide all his money on a dead body instead of in the good Christian girl's suitcase like he did with the toy animals? DUH!
I don't understand what the hell you're talking about. Mr. Evil Catholic hid his money on a dead body? Toy animals? They were Matryoshka dolls, and the guy hid his money when he was alive. What would you rather be caught with - legal cash or a suitcase full of heroin? Why the hell would you hide a ton of money in someone else's suitcase? So they can steal it themselves and get out of the country immediately?
    9. Why would the robbers steal a train just because they wanted to harass and possibly torture the nice American Christian couple? DUH!
Yeah, they liked harassing and torturing nice Americans for no good reason. One of the pleasures of life.
    10. How could a girl who had her legs cut off suddenly walk to the middle of nowhere to look for the money and the drugs? DOUBLE DUH!
Remember when her legs were NOT cut off, and she was listening to the bad guys say how they HAD the drugs and now they WANTED the money, and she begged Jessie to tell her where Carlos was so she could get the MONEY because the bad guys had the DRUGS?
I cannot believe you even watched this movie.

A few more strikes still and she could have decapitated him. A part of me felt she deserved the same. Hehe..

Did you even watch this movie? You don't know a single thing about these characters! How about instead of whining about the movie, actually focus in on what you're watching and it might make sense.
This might change you're mind on almost half of your statements: Jessie is not a Christian DUH! How did you not pick up on that??? She is only with Roy because he loves her and she loves him DUH! She only went on the trip because she misses her wild adventurous side DUH! And the cop, he wasn't an actual cop DUH! It's easy to fake having a badge. We are given no reason to think he was a real cop. And Abby didn't have her legs cut off DUH! the man was making slices into her legs, not completely cutting them off. She went to the hospital later which would have healed her and allowed her to walk. The robbers didn't steal the train just to harass Jessie and Roy, they did that so they could find the money without being stopped DUH! If any of the passengers would have seen he was a drug dealer and not a cop he wouldn't get away with anything DUH! Next time, try and watch a movie rather than act like you're smart. Every single "plot hole" you listed is ridiculous. Each one shows your lack of understanding of the characters and what actually happened.
But seeing as you say the plot holes in this movie ruined it for you and your kids, my guess is that this is a troll or a prank post. I hope I'm right on this.
the ellipsis was a stupid idea

Wow!! The movie was the filthiest pro-Christian ultra-right wing propagande piece since Moses walked down the pike. And this clueless reviewer is complaining that it was ANTI-Christian!?
Folks, we have gotta eradicate these Christian Right freaks portayed in the movie, once and for all. They are more rabid and deadly then 1000 hell-bent Muslims! ;~))
Besides, this ellegedly Christian "parent" is such a dumbass, he/she actually forced his/her own kids to watch a violent R-rated movie all the way through. Yeah, I call that a 'Christian' all right.

Correction your Honor, neither I nor my spouse forced or ever will force our children to watch anything. They are both very mature elementary school students and they are allowed to make their own choices and decisions. This is how the Lord deems it and thus how we Deem the Lord. Good Day to You Sir!

Ginn you are mean. There is something wrong with your quote. It should be "It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye." It seems that maybe you are a rapist perhaps. Trust in the Lord.

I think the reason you didn't like this movie is you didn't get any of the obvious elements that made it so good. DUH!
Really, I had to be sure you were serious with your remarks they were so ridiculous. I'm still not sure if your post was serious or overt sarcasm (because these boards are filled with people who really are that stupid).
                                    Try this

                                    1. You find corrupt police unrealistic? Seriously?
                                    2. You are shocked that people trying to be good sometimes do immoral acts? Ha. Funny.
                                    3. Negative spin on Christians? How about the guy outraged over how Christians are represented yet is upset his kids didn't enjoy this movie about sex, drugs and violence then uses the F word to describe the experience.
I could go on but I think I've wasted enough of my time.
Seriously, are these people for real?

Here's the real answer to all your questions -
They were really atheists. They weren't Christians and didn't believe in hocus-pocus.
I think your assessment of the movie is terrible. It sure had plot holes, but nothing remotely linking to Christianity.
